What do you do?

I create long form direct response copywriting for direct mail, sales letters, e-mail campaigns and landing pages.

How much does it cost?

Pricing vary but to give you a quick estimate, a 2-page direct response sales letter from me will cost as little as $1,800. My copywriting prices can be seen here.

How do you work?

I work individually with marketing managers in the fields of self-help and education, take have phone consult and go from there.

What industries do you work in?

I work in the education and training sectors.

What is the process with working with you for the first time?

First, we will have a brief conversation to see if we are a good fit, which means your goals match up with the services I provide. Once we’ve established we’re a match, I will get a little background on your needs. I have a Discovery Questionnaire that I like to have filled out. I can either send that to you and you can fill it out or we can go over it over the phone. You can learn more on my How I Write page.

How can I get a quick quote?

I don’t give out “quick quotes.” You can look at my prices here, or you can fill out my Discovery Questionnaire. I don’t give out quotes before knowing the full details of the project.

What are your working hours?

I work from 8:30 am – 6:30 pm EST (or EDT) M-F. The best way to contact me is through my contact form.

Do you web design or landing page design?

In most circumstances, the answer is no. I prefer to focus strictly on copywriting. However, I can provide guidance and provide resources to get those needs fulfilled.

Do you charge for meetings?

Most to of the time, yes. I prefer not to nickel and dime my clients, however time is precious and there is only so much of it.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, I require a 50% upfront before any work is done. Work will commence after the quote has been submitted. I offer discounts through special payment arrangements.

Do you require a contract?

Yes. I will send you mine or you can use yours. Either way, both signatures will be needed for me to start work.

Do you charge by the hour or by the project?

Almost always, it’s by the project. On rare occasions where by the project pricing doesn’t make sense, I will work on an hourly basis. The by the project arrangement works better for you because there will be no surprises. The burden will be on me to get the project done as efficiently and timely as possible.

Do you offer a retainer arrangement?

I rarely do, but I’m not ruling it out either. It depends on the circumstance. Please inquire within.

What if I change my mind about the direction of a project halfway through?

If the project changes substantially in concept, scope or direction, a revised cost estimate will be issued.

What If I don’t like your copy? Can I get a refund?

Yes, you can. I have a refund policy that is fair and ensures that you will get 100% of your deposit back if you don’t like my copy. This is explained in more detail in my Information Packet. Please call to get my Information Packet.
